I bolted up my 05 houser LT front end on my 06 450R. I used 05 spindles but retained the 06 hubs and brake calipers. The brake calipers will not bolt up. It was my understanding that all I needed was 05 spindles. Do I need to order 05 calipers, 05 hubs or both? Thanks, Matt

are these the non adjustable uppers?

and why exactly wont they bolt up, what seems to be the issue

The uppers are non-castor adjustable. The problem is there is too much space between the caliper mounting points and the brake rotor. When you slip the pads on the rotor there is about a half inch gap between the mounting holes on the caliper and the spindle(the caliper is too far from the spindle) The only thing I can figure out is that I need 05 hubs. It is my understanding there was no change in the calipers. Matt

06 hubs are spaced differently- front end is actually wider on 06

we measured the distance between my rotor and spindle and it was 1 1/4". We measured the same on a stock 05 and it was 3/4". Moral of the story is the spindles and hubs must stay together as a package for things to work properly. Thanks for the help guys. Matt
