I am going to be ordering a Pro Circuit T-4 Slip-On, K&N Air Filter w/ Outerwear, and possible cutting about a 2 to 3 inch diameter hole in my airbox. My question is, if I do not drill the hole in the airbox, I was going to change my main to a 155 or 158, turn my fuel screw out a quarter to a half turn (or in whatever dircetion is richer), changin my pilot to a 40, and moving the clip one spot lower. Does these settings sound about right? My elevation is around 700 feet. I think it should be, and I would appreciate your input. And also, if I do drill the hole in the airbox, how many more main sizes would I have to go up? Thanks in advance and the more help I get the better. Sorry for such a long post.

sounds about right go with around 165 if u put the hole but it wont that much of a difference. while your at it go ahead and take ur choke off. greattttt throttle response when u do.

I am a little weary about taking the choke off, will it still start if it is like 5 degrees out? Just wondering. And thanks for the reply

can anyone else comment on if my jetting sounds as if it should be somewhere in the ballpark, I do not feel like taking this thing apart like 6 times, so I am hoping to get it right in like 2 or 3. Thanks.

Read my mods for what I did. I would cut the lid and put a 165
main in to get more bang.

not really wanting to put the hole in the lid, i ride in dust, and then it gets real muddy, and then back to dust, so i do not want to put a hole in the lid, but thanks anyway, just trying to find out if all of my settings seem to be in the ballpark.

well if you ride in a lot of dusty areas stay with a foam filter like uni or sparks filter. i don't think you will see much of a powergain. Jetting it seems like you got it about right but the only way to tell is to test it.
