New rings and or gaskets on 400EX?

Hey everybody.I was wondering when I go to fix my 400EX's engine...again...should I put new rings on it this time?I only have had it back together for like maybe 30 minutes of riding but when I put it together I acidentily broke the bottom timing chain adjuster bolt off in the cylinder so it needs to come back off anyways.The reason I didnt do this when I put it back together the first time is because I didnt think the new rings would seat right in the used bore.Next time I put this back together should I clean the cylinder with soap and water?

Also when I put it back together I put in a moose top end kit.Since it has been rode for less than an hour should I be able to reuse the gaskets?That is what a powersports shop told me so is it true?If not I aint bringin anything to them to fix.:eek2:

Do NOT reuse the head and base gaskets. They've already been compressed and heat cycled.
