AC Racing Propeg Nerfs with Heel Guards or Blackline Pro Peg

Hey guys..wanting to buy some new nerf bars....really like the looks of the AC Racing ones...I'm just trying to decide if I should go with the Pro Peg bars with Heel Guards or the Blackline Pro Pegs with Heel Guards.....I'm kinda new to the whole ATV thing..only been riding a couple years...was just wondering how often you should have to replace foot pegs...the Blackline has replaceable foot pegs..I really like the looks of the Blackline was just wondering how easily the black paint would chip off? I only do trail riding...What would you guys suggest..

I would suggest which ever one you prefer. The pegs won't need to be replaced hardly at all if you don't race. I've never had to replace any pegs, they last a pretty long time.

Man you're pretty much like me I do a little bit of racing but mostly trail riding. I'm lookin into the AC's aswell, but for you it all depends on what you like, (my opinion) I'm gonna get the blackline nerfs with black IMS heel gaurds when I get the money!
But it all depends on what you're quad looks like and what you think will look good on there.

if you get the blacklines their is no need to buy heel guards because they are integrated into the nerfs.

blackline:macho if your worried about the paint chipping off you can get them in aluminum finish also

Hey, what's up with that peg setup? Is that custom by you or is AC now doing a steel peg deal? The only thing that deters me from propegs is the fact that they use aluminum pegs, which wear down. Yours looks like steel around the perimeter..

yes they are stainless steel footpegs and they are replacable if they wear down. if you dont like the heal gaurds then they just came out with new ones without heal gaurds. www.acracing.com :macho

no problem, i actually bought the ones with out healgaurds because i dont like the ones with them. just a personal preference, ive never ran with them and im just now used to them

Ok there might be other people like me but I dont know. But i dont have 300 bucks to spend on nerf bars, I like the blacklines though. So is there anyway me and the other low budget guys can get the blackones? I've seen on a website that some black propegs go for 250 and that's still high.
