I think I answered this for you in a different forum... but where did you get the 5" wheelspacers and do you like them? sorry to get off subject.

yeah you did and you have probably one of the widest pipes so thats one reason my big gun is not that wide. and yeah they are the best but I neeeeeeed some spending money so im sellin the wheel spacer and just tryin to figure what tire i want to buy so that it doesnt touch my pipe. I'm looking at Super Swamper TSL'S.

swampers would be to heavy for a 250ex to turn, try a set of the wooly boogers that are 11" wide, but i guess you have to find out for yourself.

I heard that the swampers were really good because they dont way too much. all these people with recons said they're the best tires for smaller quads that go in bogs. does anyone have any other tires that are good for mud. I was lookin at the Bear Claws but i cant find any 22-11-9's in those.

i have a pair of 22x12.5x9 ITP Blackwaters that I use for mud on both my 400 and 250ex, they don't rub anything on either quad, and they work great(heavy though, but in mud, that doesn't really matter)

the wide tires wont rub as long as your not jumping with them. the stockers almost rub on a stock exhaust when the suspension bottoms out. and putting heavy tires on a 250ex or a recon wieghs it down a lot and takes a lot of power away that it dont have. oh and I would bet my e-series is thinner than the BG. the e-series is oval shaped and sits in farther. the bg is round isnt it?
good luck finding a mudder that is light weight close to stockers and still handles good without rubbing the exhaust when jumping!

i completely forgot about these, because they are the tires i use all the time, but i have a pair of 22x11x9 ITP Holeshot XCT's, they are pretty lightweight, and are GREAT for ANY type of riding(mud, dirt, jumping, sand)

They shouldn't rub , especially with wheel spacers.
I have 22-12.5-9 bearclaws on my 300ex and they don't rub anything, tho they are hard on your drive terrain.
