400ex battery amps matter?????? i really need help

i wanna buy a battery 4 my quad
the original battery is
12v 8 amps
will anythinghappen if i cange it to

12v 12 amps

It should be fine, the amps really just help to start the quad, you usually want more amps for cold cranking power :D
