450r hood

i want to get a new hood for my 450 and i was wondering what u guys think i should get. please post pics if possible.

Get the Quad Tech vented hood.

quad tech is nice looking but why spend $200 on it, where the performace gain at? Anything i purchase for that much better be more than cosmetic.
Best bet is go with a maier hood. You can get them for $40 on magicracing.com

i definetly like the maier hood cause i really want to take off the light for racing and i dont want it to look weird cause it will have a big hole. thanks for the help guys.

not a big fan of that one but i like 450RGNCC. It looks good and only costs 40 bucks. why spend 150+ on CF when it can break on a bad fall.

i agree with Nick,
that maier raised scoop is horrible looking...but the vented one is much better. i currently have the smooth but think ill be getting the vented just to change it up a little.

I say get the maier vented hood.. i think the quadtech look 5 times better but..... think bout it. 190 dollars to something that if u roll over once it's 190 dollar down the drain, they dont hold up, my friend dropped his on installion and it broke, not worth 190 just for looks... maier hoods look good and only cost bout 40-50 dollars, by the time, u would have wrecked enough to break the plastic hood, u could buy bout 3 more and still not pay the cost of 1 quadtech, i think it's crazy but it's what ur opinion of it lol

I like the GENERATION X hoods. here is my hood. it's silver metal flake to match my seat cover .
