The only answer you will get here is 250R bud! This is after all a 250R forum. You havn't said what type of riding you do. I would say unless you intend to use the Banshee's raw power for hillclimbing or sand duning, get the R. Nothing beats the R for handling where as the Banshee just plain sucks. It has been the same quad since 1987. It sucked then and it still sucks today. It's engineers either don't exist or they are lazy! Just my 2 cents!

250r. It is lighter, handles a million times better, sits better, and has more USABLE power than the banshee.
