DG Rear Bumber

I was checking out the DG rear bumbers that bolt onto the swingarm- Anyone have one or know anything about them? Will it act like a wheely bar. Or just protect from getting hit behind? Any pics of it on a quad would be cool? THANX!!!!!!!
