where is the water plug on a kfx 400

Two things I need to know.
1. Is that little allen wrench plug that is kind of under the water pump where u drain the water. the one thats on the bottom front of the engine.
2. If I take off my water pump cover will i mess up the gasket or is it a none stick o-ring.

By water do you mean the green coolant?

If so just take of the black tube-like peice off and let it all drain through that.
