450r rear fenders on a 400

anyone out there put 450r rear fenders on a 400ex? i like the looks way more on the R and was wondering what type of modification would be needed to make them fit.

why not get eh new 06 rear fenders or the new maier's i thing are that design

the '05s are the same as the '06. and i could get a set of used rear 450r for less than half the price of maiers.
