Since I can't get the axel nut off the end of the axel. I am thinking of changing the whole swingarm and axel with a new one. I priced it out on service honda and it will cost about 1600 for the whole thing. Should I go with stock replacement or is there something better in the aftermarket scene? I just do trail riding.

My luck, I won't be able to get the swingarm bolt out like the other post up tonight.

if you cant get it off why not get cut it out maybe cut a few marks into teh nut but not into the axle and it should come off , also did you try heating the locknut up ? that should work good for freeing it up as well

I thought about buying a dremel saw to cut it off, but knew I would have it all messed up. I will most likely cut into the threads for sure. I do not have a torch to heat it. I am going to bring it into a bike shop mon or tues. If they can't get it off, I was pricing out my options to see what it will cost to replace it.

I have never seen anything so stuck in my life. I snapped my 3/4 breaker bar with a 6 foot pipe on the end and it still wouldn't move.

I might be able to just cut the axel off and takr it out of the swingarm.

I would really try to get that lock nut off before you go and replace the whole rear end in your 250r. But if you do replace the swingarm, carrier, locknut, and axle, then you should go with aftermarket parts. If you do go aftermarket, I would go with Burgard for the swingarm, and carrier, and lonestar for the lock nut and axle.

You could all the parts you need with brand new aftermarket parts, and it would still cost less than hte OEM replacement parts.
