416 or 426 kit?

I have a 2001 400ex. I want more power but i dont know if the 426 kit is more then i need. So if anyone could tell me what would be better to get that would help alot thanks. and yes of course i will be getting a cam too.:)

If I were to do it over again, I'd do the normal mods (pipe, filter, jets) and then work on the suspension before worrying about more power. Good suspension will totally change your quad, and you'll be able to go faster everywhere but in a straight line. You can do the 416cc w/ a cam, but you won't really be able to use it. You don't realize how terrible the stock front suspension is until you get something better. My advice is a-arms, axle, and front shocks first, then 416 or 426.
