i tried searching but coulding find anything. i rejetted my ex with a 145 pilot and a 170 main. and i ran through all gears did a plug check brown plug, thats good right? but when i hold it right around half throttle it bogs a little bit till i crack the throttle and it clears right out. what do i adjust on for this? thanks

145 pilot? .........check your air/fuel mixture screw on the underside of your carb.

The fuel screw on the side of the carb controls 1/4 - 3/4 throttle, sounds like its running lean maybe back it out a 1/4 a turn or so and see if that helps out any.

Needle position would be the problem.

Bingo, we have a winner :D
Try raising the needle (lower the clip) one position and try again. You might possibly have to go 2 positions, but one position is likely to clear things up.

I hope the 145 pilot jet was a typo.

yea the 145 was a typo ment 45 pilot. havent getten around to doin it yet but now that i know of what to adjust ill figure it out. and i also got a hot cam coming in hopefully pretty soon been waiting for it for almost 2 months now. but am i gonna half to rejet for the new cam? thanks for the help.
