TCS front shocks

I have a set of triple rate, compression and preload adjust TCS shocks. Shocks are off my 86 250R, so I am not sure what else, if anything they will fit. (They are 16 1/4" long eye to eye.) They were on the quad when I bought it. The guy I bought the quad from only new that they were set up for a 250 lb expert. (Did not know the style of riding.) I am 230 lbs and they are a little stiff, but not to bad. (I ride desert and dunes.) Shocks are in good shape, have a few small rock chips on the springs, nothing major. Do you mean length of a-arms? The quad I bought had +2+1 arms on it, and they were a little stiff for me, so I would bet the shocks were set up for them.
