rear brakes

I installed my new rear dp brake pads on tuesday. I pushed the piston back in as far as possible and then put the pads in. I could barely get it on the rotor. Now with them on my rear tires wont even spin. What can I do to fix this problem? My dad said I could try sanding my brake pads, but are there any other options? Thanks, Matt

the caliper slides back and forth on pivot bolts. sometimes when they get gummmed up they cause the caliper to drag big time.

once you greese up the slider bolts then you may have to sand the pads doun some... or mabie just ride with them rubbing... may warp the rotor tho.
