just thought i would throw this out there, i have custom laker plastics and carbon fiber hood, the custom laker hood has a different mount set-up and will not mount to the OEM plastics, i had a scooped hood i wanted to use and only could after cutting and re-drilling.


maybe custom laker has come out with a hood that fits OEM plastic, but thought i would offer this up so you could ask them before you pay for it

I have a black one ready to be installed on my 06R....and it is supposed to be mounted to OEM plastics....well you have trim and fit and everything else to get it to work.....the ears towards the fron of the hood need heated and bent to fit the OEM fenders......if you take your time you can get it to fit and look good......but.....if you don't mind trimming and fitting it will work....that is what I'm doing now.....I will post some pics when its done.....they are 36 bucks plus like 9 bucks shipping....Laker Custom Plastic (http://www.lakercustom.com) don't be in a hurry for it...cause they are sloooooowwwwww
