I am getting a Tattoo tommrow, and I need help deciding what to get. I know that I am going to have a native american word wrote on my back, right in between my shoulder-blades. I am going to keep it simple ( also less painfull) It it will be about an inch to an inch and a half tall in black ink. Here are a few word words I was thinking about and what they mean:

TAIMA - Thunder
TORNGASAK- The good spirit
TOKAPA - The first man
AKECHETA - Warrior
ENAPAY - Goes bravley out
HANIA - Spirit warrior
MASKA - Strong
Which one do you think would be the best.

A tattoo should be about what YOU think/feel, not someone else's opinion. Get something that means something to you.

Yep... if you don't know what you want, DON"T get it! This way you can't blame other people when you have to spend 10 times as much to remove the tattoo or 3 to 5 times as much the get it covered.

I will decide what I get in the end no matter what people say or think. I was kind of curious really.

Well each person is different. But I understand your question. So if I had to choose, just on my life, I would say The Good Spirit would be by choice.

get what you want, and where you are getting is not painful at all...my 3rd tattoo is in the same place you are getting this and i thought for sure that when he went over the spine, it would hurt like he77, but what littel discomfort(not pain) was closer to the shoulder blades...

if you do not know what you wnat yet, wait until you are 1000% sure...i know that the i absolutely wanted my first one, but i am considering having it covered. i have had it for 9 years though...

FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE REST OF YOUR LIFE REST OF YOUR LIFE.

I have five tats and I can only say they are not something that you do on whim. You need to be sure this is something that is meaning full and unique to you. I guess tats can be removed today but its really expenisve and takes several treatments.

Tis has been something I have been thinking about for years. I know I want to get one, and I know I want a word across my back, It is just finding the right word. I know thats a big deal, so before I get it I am going to make sure 100% I like it. I have a feeling that like a year or so from now I will forget I even have one because of the spot it is in. The only time I will remember is when I am at the lake and someone ask what it means.

I've got my SAE tat on my left arm clear up at the shoulder.

Its the old lion standing on top of the letters.
