what company makes some nice shocks but for cheap they dont have to be the best on the market because the best and cheap dont go together its for a 400ex

i've got some elka rec series. they were $525 when i got mine, but i think the price has gone down since then. very happy with mine!!!

you should have gtthunder or c&d revalve your rear. save you tons of money and they work almost as well as aftermarket. i don't have mine done yet, but i hear that it works wonders!! the gtthunder kit also has a new linkage for it. very reasonable in price too!!!

Yeah, if you don't want to spend much money Elka Recs and a GT Thunder redone rear will be excellent. I'm currently in the process of doing this mod.

I agree with everyone that posted so far. You could find used shocks pretty cheap too, send them and your rear to get rebuilt if you wanted.

check out ebay for some used shocks, you might have to revavle or rebuild them but its worth it if you find a good set for half price :cool:
