Its an 87 with houser +3+1 aarms, 450r front shocks, rebuilt rear shock, CT 310 kit, 38 mm carb, Curtis sparks mx exhaust. Ive got new plastic and graphics and a cf hood to put on as soon as I get the rest of my parts from service honda.

i was looking at those a-arms and I have the same ones but long travel. could you just cut the shock mounts on those std travel arms and just weld it further down the a-arm to make it long travel? looks to me like it would work. just would have to be precise measurements.

Hell yea they do, they are one of the best 2 stroke pipes out there, and they have a great sound.

thanks for all the nice comments.

wicked265r you prolly could do that as long as you had good measurements. I imagine that the aarms are made the same and just have different shock mounting locations.

I always wanted a 250r, and I finally got one, lol. They are a blast to ride. What kind of bumper do you have on that, elbine?

made some progress on it this weekend. ive gotta do a little trimming on the front plastic so it mounts up right around the gas tank. theres like a lip at the top sticking out that needs to be removed. sorry bout the pics a few of them are a lil dark

update. got it mostly completed where its rideable. gotta wait till it warms up a lil bit so I can put the graphics on. just waitin on my new bars and air scoops now.

Dude quad's really started to look sick. I remember when you first got it, it was nothing like it is now. Turned that quad right around. Hopefully this year you will be able to stomp the competition with the new ride. Good luck man!!

On the frame? We had a few extra gallons of international harvestor red left over so I figured the price was right why not use it. You can get it at tractor supply. It was the first time I used a paint gun to paint with. It could be a lil better but its not to bad.

Ive only ridden it up and down the driveway one time. Hopefully tonight I can ride it some more cuz its dried up alot.

The rear shock is just a stock one thats rebuilt.

how is the rear linkage rebuilt do you bottom out a lot because mine does

Slamdak, did you get the correct dogbone? The early year dogbone is 1" longer later year dogbone.
