axel nut

Is the nut the holds the rear axel hub on reverse threaded? I can't get the nut off the axel to remove the wheel hub. broke my breaker bar doing it and the nut won't move.

reverse threads are on it.........when you get it off throwit as far away from the R as possible and get an aftermarket one

ok tried it the other way and broke my 3/4 rachet. Do I have to cut my axel off and get a new one, or throw the whole swingarm and bike in the garage ? or maybe just the swing arm. I cannot believe the nut won't come off. I am using a 6 foot pipe on the end of the tool and it still won't break loose. I am frustrated. any help out there?

If all else fails you can cut the nut in two using a dremel with a cutoff wheel. Just be careful not to cut into the threads on the axle.
