Hey I was wondering and I'll go ahead and explain what I like to do and stuff. I love to jump and trail race that is my thing well my favorite. I want a 2 stroke ATV no thumper. So i've narrowed it down to either a TRX or a Banshee. I also like to hit the track a few times and every now and then drag race but not alot. So what would be better the TRX or Banshee?? I also like playing around too. Dependability and Power does matter :)

It is hard to ask a question about honda vs yamaha at this site was an all honda site but you are in a newly opened banshee section but i would have to say a 250 would be better for what you want to do

I think a 250 might end up costing more, i ride like you and i have a banshee.

Definately the 250R, and I'm a Banshee person!:eek2:

If you were sticking to something like drags or wider trails I'd say definately go with the Banshee, but since you added tracks in there than it's a definate yes to the R. R's can be made as fast as a Banshee also and they are a lot cheaper to mod, while being a bit more reliable.

This is me#12 pulling a wheelie off the starting line on my home made hybrid that I call the Honshee half Honda 250R and half banshee. I would highly suggest the conversion if you can pull it off. Alll my other detailed pictures are to large to post but I asure you it is what I say it is and it really ripps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man that is awesome. How did you manage it? Did you run the banshee engine with 250r frame or what?

Yes it is a true 86' TRX 250R chassis with no major frame alterations. I couldn't and wouldn't give all my secrets away but I can say that It requires a single carb and single pipe to pull it off. That is if you plan on racing it in any organization that will have rules that don't allow drag pipes. I race this bike in events like the Pikes Peak hill climb, circle track racing both ice and dirt as well as a little super moto from time to time. I run a very strong 350cc motor at the moment but will be putting together a 450cc cheeta cub motor for the 2006 hill climb season. If you would like some good pictures send me an email address and I will send you pictures back. I can't seem to get them to post on this forum.

#1atpikespeak, send me pics of your Honshee to me. Send as many as you like, more the better, that thing sounds sweet:D . I've always loved the Banshee, still have mine all in pieces ready for a full rebuild...won't happen anytime soon though. My e-mail is ntadej@hotmail.com. Thanks
