i do i grease them but you know right at the top of the stering stem right below were the handle bar clamps are i need to get some grease in there that is what is squeeking, how do i get grease in there

well I'd say your gonna need to remove the front plastic first,,then you should see a clamp with 2 bolst that holds the steering stem bushing..you need to remove those bolts and pull that clamp off so you can get to the bushing,,grease up that bushing real good and slap it back together,,that;ll fix the problem I promise,,I have to do mine about 2 or 3 times a year.

Yeah, I just greased my stearing stem bushing a few weeks ago. It was squeeking really load, and now it doesn't squeek at all.

Here is a question I have had and never asked, might be a little dumb but this wouldn't be the first dumb questions I have asked.

How do you grease your ball joints?

Thanks

Go buy some teflon lube and spray it in the steering stem bearings....thats the same problem i had with my 400, but i sprayed the teflon oil in it and it took the squeak out

Do they make other types of steering stem bushings that don't squeek? Hard plastic or somthing?

i thought if you wanted to grease your steering stem, you needed to put a steering damper on it so it wont turn to easy and jerk real bad when you hit a rock? u dont need one?

Well your correct about how the dampner will help with bump steer but it will not fix the squeking.
