need help with taillight

is there anything in the 400exs taillight circuit that is prone to ****ing up? Mine quit on me, changed the bulb but it still wont work.

Not as far as I know. Check the wires, see if there is power between the 2 hook ups. Do your head lights work? The head lights have to be on for the rear to work. And it is a tail like not a stop light (ie lights up when you hit the brake).
