Just got word from the hospital that his heart was fibulating(sp) and they have run several tests and at this point they don't know what is causing it.They are keeping him overnight and will do more testing to try and determine what's going on.Once again I thank all of you for your concern and support.

Man know the feeling all to well with my dad, He'll pull through my dad did twice so far had his first operation at 64 and now is 66. And my dad is in great shape physically for an old fart too, heart problems run in the blood line though and I'm already thinking about it at age 25.

Keep us posted, but I'm pretty postive hell be fine, heart technology has come a long way in the last 10 years.

Well, all the test results came back good but they don't know why his heart did what it did. They discharged him and he is home now. It's one of those situations where you are glad all the tests showed good but still don't have an answer as to why it happened.Anyway, thanks again everyone for your prayers and support and let's hope it doesn't happen again :)

thats good news man.

Does your dad ever get hot all of sudden then pass out for a few minutes? My dad does that little trick at least once every six months, goes to the hospital and nothing is wrong??:ermm:

The only symptoms he described were shortness of breath and he was so dizzy he couldn't walk straight.
