I wouldnt do it. Trade a modded quad for a close to stock, if not completely stock quad, that it not any faster. Doesn't make much sense at all to me......

Unless he wants to race PRODUCTION Class!!!!!

The only person that can make this decission is Y.O.U. Decide what it is your trying to accomplish.....or do you just WANT a new quad. After you decide what it is your trying to accomplish, the answer will come easy, grasshopper!

i have a fully modded 250r to, im gunna go to a 450......i mean u cant get to attached to it, you can always buy/build another one!

i love my 250r so much, but i mean its time to try sumthing diffrent, i will eventually build another one, but i am gunna build a MX 450 as soon as the 250r is gone :( ....makes me sad to see it go home on sum1 elses trailer :( :( ......oh well :cool: :o

I think that you might regret trading. Why not save up and get a 450then Unless the yfz has mods

topend build for a 250r...........maybe $400 if not tore up to bad
topend on a yfz 450.............$1500 i know this from experience, and all i had done was a rebore and 1 valve replaced. the valves have to be shimmed, if your not mechanically inclined on a 4 stroke dont do it

It just seems like people regret selling or trading their 250r more than anything. It doesn't matter what they owned before, how many quads they have owned and traded, the 250r is the one they regret. Ask Pappy, he knows it.

If you're looking to race, and that's your goal, then I say trade. Otherwise, I'd stick with the R.

i no right....ive had hondas all my life from a xr70 to 250ex to a 250r...had a ttr90 pit bike ...thing was sh*t damn thing leaked oil outta the case...jus trouble...hondas rock im jus gunna mod mine up alil but more...upgrade the works:p :chinese: :ermm:

That will definetly be a BIG improvement. Try out some PEP zps. Either that or Custom axis. I have always wanted a set of Custom axis, but I can't justify getting rid of my PEP's for a set of those because they are just as good if not better.

If you're into MX, defintly trade. My lap times are way faster on my 450 than I was on my 250. I can ride faster, easier.
