yamaha, but still need help

OK, normally i am a honda man, but i found a great deal on a yamaha ytm200 el three wheelr and plan on turning it into a swamp trike. i payed 250 for it and it ran great, took it mudriding and it was unstoppable. now i need a cdi for it and the dealer has one for 325 bucks. if anyone has one or knows where one is, please help. thanks

Are you 100% sure it is the CDI?

Otherwise, is the three wheeler worth a total of $575? I would think so, especially if it runs like you say. I would also try to put a balloon around your new CDI to help keep the water out. Just a thought.

How About Keeping An Eye On www.ebay.com You Can Find Some Hard To Find Parts There Usually.

go to www.rrcycle.com and go to used parts. they have tons of parts there for just about every trike quad or what ever. pretty good prices too. you can probably find one there for about 25 bucks if that.
