Im gettin a 2002 Yamaha Blaster pretty soon.What are the first mods I should get.I will have about $225 to spend.

if i were u i would wait till the 2003 blasters come out... they got hydro disc brakes not hte junky drunk and cable disc...


i know the 1st mod all my friends did was a pipe and silencer... one had fmf and one had dg and the fmf was a nicer pipe... thats what i would buy...

yeah just wait for the 2003 they look alot beter than the others with the new head light, and first mode definatly a pipe

i just got a 2002 blaster also Im moding it as we speak and my mods include Full PRM SKID PLATES ALL AROUND $229 and AC STANDARD ALUMINUM NERF BARS and as soon as thats done im gonna put an LRD exhaust pipe+silencer because they are fully adjustable, if you need and parts e-mail me my friend is an authorized dealer for Elka suspension, and many other companies too mnay to list He'll hook you up

If your getting a Blaster then get the 2003s and get an LRD pipe and UNI filter for the first mods. Also look into an oil injector block off. Then you will have to mix gas buts its a lot more reliable and they say they give you a power increase.

Getting a block is a good idea but you're not going to notice a power difference. But I would definetly get an 03 just for the brakes.
