250r gearing

I just put 18's on my r for ice racing and im wondering what you other guys are running for sprocket sizes....right now i'm running stock sizes (13 front, 39 rear) and i need a some more top end

I would bump up the front sprocket to a 14.

Especially with 18s on there. 14/39 with 18s is going to be fairly close to the same drive ratio as the stock 13/38 with 20s.

I agree with everyone else, the 14T is your best bet. Rocky mountain ATV was running a clearance on em for $5.99. I got a 14 to run on mine.
