You know I will be be there Z. This year I'm racing your class and I'm going to see If I can keep you from geting over 4 min ahead of me.lol. the OMA and the IOWA sched kinda collide. I'm thinking I will manage as long as I dont get hurt or blow up my motor. what quad will you be riding?

i'm going to race a few of them. i went to the last race last year in stillwater,ok and thought it was pretty fun. i definetly think it will be better with quads only on saturdays.

I pieced it together. Paid a total of almost $1000 for it -- not too shabby.

They posted the schedule of events on the website. Mini quads race at 10 & 10:30. The big quads run @ noon. They do have some bike that run but that is not till around 3ish. It will be nice to get out of there earlier so that I can get home at more of a decent time after the races.

It should be a good year - good luck to all.

This is the first time I have heard of this series. Is this motocross or cross-country? I couldn't find a phone number for questions on the web site. Anybody know who I could call. My son races 90cc quads and might be interested.

I think I will try the OMA series race at Memphis Mo this year. I need more info-classes, rules, signup info. What are the requirements-AMA, district card, tether ,number plates, background colors. Any info I can get will be helpful. I will try to get some other MHSC racers to go also. Thanks Josh

Hey rob, did you notice entry is $75 for pro class this year. it also says full pay back. what did you get for race winnings last year on average?

For any information on the series go to their website. They have the OMA rulebook & class structure on the site:

www.unitedoffroadracing.com

yeah I seen it went up to $75. Last year it was full payback & sometimes more. I don't have an average because it always changed since there were different numbers of racers at each race.

Do you not have to be a member to race?

Thanks for the info guys. I'll see you at the Missouri race.

I was wondering about the practice myself. I am planning on calling them to find out.

If you want to receive series awards at the end of the year, you have to be a member. Otherwise you pay $10 to race just for the day.

I will let you know about the practice after I call them.

what are the tracks like compared to the gncc's?

They are very comparable to the GNCCs. Some are harder & some are easier. They do average about 6-8 miles in length.

The more the merrier. Heck the the guy that I ran the 12 hours with is also going to race the entire series pro (Todd Krupinski). At least I will have someone to travel with.

Hopefully I will see you in Arkansas. - you really need to make it to the MN one since you like the MX.

I will try to screw up your guys plans to. key word "TRY". I think this year is going to be fun, but alot of pro riders are switching to dirt bike though. Mainly lundes crew. but we have a few riders moving up from B class. Cant wait to the 25th.:) :) :D :macho

Yeah, I know about Lunde. He has a tight budet & can't afford the quad right now with college. I feel sorry for those guys switching to the dark side. Ohh well. It should be a good year.

do you know if elisa is going to move up to the pro class. I think she should she is one of the most constistent riders that I know. I think kenny is moving to pro class too and I think Ryan is still going to race quads, i will have to give him a call and find out.

I think she is going to run the A class in OMA and the Pro class in the MXC. I am not sure what Kenny or Ryan are doing as of yet.

Rob

Are you sure you can just pay $10 to just race for no Points??

Last year they Darcy Told me it was $10 to race if ya only race once, but if you sign up for a 2nd race you have to be a member to race and its $35 or so?

Wish I could commit to all of them but I will be at Mn and Iowa For sure maybe a few more.

1 Throw out for the Pro class kind of hands the Guy who commits to the series the Championship IMO...

Hows the married life?
