OK guys I just got a brand new 05' 400ex and I'm lookin for some mods to do. I ordered a IMS bumper for it but that's really all have done to it so far. I'm looking for more of a xc set up but I will doin some mx tracks. Oh one more thing I cant get exhuast and dont want anything that is over 250-300 bucks to start off with.

Why can't you get exhaust? Get you some nerf bars.

Revalving your rear shock and getting some aftermarket fronts is always the best start before anything else.

I cant get exhuast b/c of where I ride. And I was thinking about getting some nerf bars but dont know which ones to get. Shocks are going to be a big factor b/c the stock front shocks suck, so they'll come later when I get some more money.

get some bolt on Pro Armor Nerfs for like $150 at www.rockymountainatv.com thats what i got and they are very strong and pretty light! if you go to www.hmfengineering.com they make "quiet" pipes but also have nice performance. they make different kinds, but once you have found one you like go to www.motosport.com and buy the pipe there! it is much cheaper to buy it off that website! i think the quiet pipe is called "the HMF QRS series". good luck man!

I have a works shock on ebay. its the best shock I have ever had, made a huge difference on my quad check it out I will sell it for around $300. or you can bid on it on ebay and mabey pay less here is the item number. 4607379007.
