250r or 400 plastic on a 300ex?

me and my freind are buildin a quad and puttin' a 2stroke dirtbike motor on a 300ex frame i got for 80 bucks and we wanted a real cool look and want to put either 250r race cut plastic or older model 400 plastic on it and wanted to know how hard it would be before we break down and buy some plastic. can any one help us

this is our first build we're 14 but have been around it all for a long time
i think maybe i can weld some new mounts on but i dunno about the back????

Search, it will work with mods for the 400ex plastic. 250r would be difficult because its longer.

400ex plastics will fit with somew simple mods and a little bending to make it fit
