same thing happened to me, but it was from a wreck. the back upper a arm mount was pushed into the oil tank. lucky for me, my uncle has a full out shop in his garage. we took the stem and oil tank out and heated it up and straightened it out. its only SLIGHTLY tweaked now but you cant really tell and it handles like it did before.

I've riden harescrambles for the past 2 years with my 04 z without a gussetted frame and it is still straight. I just bought a bare performance gusset kit to install just in case something happens. To bend your frame you usually have to hit something pretty hard. there are people out there like LTZ400ridr said that can straighten frames, I have seen it done and they turn out pretty good. You might find a straight frame on ebay for $400-$500 or suzuki dealer will charge $$700 ish. The guy I know that straightens frames does it for $250 give or take a little. Your best bet is to ask some of the local dealers if they know someone that is good at straightening frames.

i rode mine while it was bent but i didnt know it was. once its bent it will set in place and stay there until its bent more or straightened. once i got mine straightened, it bent back a TINY bit but it just set in place and hast moved since.

heres a pic of when mine was bent, didnt know it was bent till i saw this pic and went out and looked at it. it cocked my wheel out quite a bit:(

now its almost straight as can be.

Is it obvious if your frame is bent--even a little?
