Did anyone make thier own sand rail if so lets see pics. does anyone have plans how to do it or know where to find some ? any info would be great (motor, susp. tubing used ) thanks

A Fab section would be cool. This is the one I traded my yfz for it's a R1 then sold it when we found out I was pregnant.

oh no, here we go again, not another sand rail thread! looks like its time for me to get depressed again over how i live nowhere near dunes, and have the longing to build a kick *** lt rail

i feel ur pain. all i have are sand flats close to me. thier fun but thier no sand dunes..
heres a buggy type thing some1 posted a while back.

My uncle is building a 4 seat long travel (25" front, 22"rear) :eek2: car from scratch in his garage. When it's done it'll have 350cui Chevy with a Mendeola trans, pwr steering, coilovers & bypass shocks front and rear. He has the main body and front suspension done so far. I'll try to get some pice this weekend.
