2006 kickstart

does anyone have the 06 450r, not the 450er. i don't want the electric start and i am wondering if anyone has one or knows when they will for sure be available. i know a few of the GNC pro's already have them but all the dealers i've talked to say they can't even order them yet. any info would be helpful. thanks

i was told mine should be in sometime if feb! i hope it shows up in a couple of weeks!

my buddy just bought the estart and he wanted the kicker. the dealer said 3 more weeks. he didnt want to wait.

I was told that my local dealer would be ordering them last week. Still debating about an '04 w/ mods or a '06 kicker.

i went to my dealer do put a deposit on one and the salesmen got on his computer and said they couldn't even order them from honda yet. i don't know what the deal is, but i hope they come available pretty soon. who knows maybe my dealership just sucks.

Hah, I think it might be the dealer! I just know that I want a 450r bad.

ive only tried to order it from one dealer, but ive talked to about five and they all keep saying two or three weeks. then a couple weeks later they'll say, oh two or three more weeks. my guess is they don't know any more than i do. but i could be wrong.

Get the 06! I wish I would have known they were coming out when I bought my 05! I would've waited! The 06 with the HRC is faster than my 05 with the mods below. It's rediculous! The 06 tranny is sooo much better for trail riding also!:(

Trail riding is all that I will be doing. Sounds good to me. haha

we have the 450R here in south africa already and are racing them. I am waiting for my +3 from Roll and already have elites waiting to go on. We can only get the 450ER in march...!!!

you guys already have the 06 450r in south africa, but you can't get the 450er yet? its just the opposite here in the states. so how does the new kickstart model start? does the bike start first kick like the 05's do or is the carb all screwed up from the factory.

I am still in the process of running mine in so its a bit tight still...
She fires up first or second kick...pretty much like the 05.
Its great to see all the little changes honda have made, i also have an 05 kick and i parked them next to each other and compared all the differences.... well done honda....

my stock 06 pulls as hard as my worked 05...so i cant wait to burn it in full mx trim...

Honda of Rarden in Ohio said that she would be selling for $5,900 plus tax and title fee. They had two ERs but I want a kicker, gonna wait. Hopefully they come in soon. I'm anxious to get mine. Dad was wanting me to get a 400ex, I told him that I want something that will rip as well as be able to trail ride.
