I was wondering if anyone has ever put or tried putting 450R shocks on a 300ex...can it be done sucessfully and if so what do i need?

i havnt do that set up but it is posible just buy the shock relocation off ebay and put 450r shocks on it.

modding your frame liek you would for the 400ex front not sure if the valving would be way off or not

I've seen 400ex's with 450r shocks, and +2's, they seem to work. Don't see why you couldn't get some +2's or +3's and a relocator bracket to do the same thing.

If you had +3 a arms with Yfz shocks would work without a relocator.

theyd have to be longtravel if you dont want to use a relocater.

u got to run LT aarms with the 450r shocks..its been done on here before

um no thats wouldnt work..because the mounting is still the same for stock shocks..if he dosent want to use the relocator then he has to run longtravel aarms...thats the only way they will work with out relocator

Sorry, my mistake.

You will have to grind off about a 1/4" on where the bushing are on the shock. Thats the only mod you would have to do I belive.

Kind in mind 450r shocks are a quarter inch longer than 400ex shocks...
