im pretty sure that nothing else, other than wheels, handlebars clutch/ brake lever, parking brake block off, and steering stem clamp will "bolt on" to a 450r from a 250r, unless you do some major modification.

Not 100% sure but I think the Grab Bar may line up and the bumper will too with some washers. But again, I'm not absolute on that.

Your correct. The front shocks will fit too, but be sure to revalve them.

Front bumpers won't work....the shocks can work only if they are set up for +2 a-arms.....and just the little things that are metioned above.....I had the same questions when I got my 450........

You will have to talk to someone who rebuilds shocks......I talked to Laz at GT Thunder about redoing my TCS's to work on my 450 and he said it could be done....as far as the LT's you will have to talk to him about it....shoot him an email he is very good about getting back to people....

okay so let me get this straight

Rims and tires
Bars
Axle with 250r hubs
Front suspenison (long traval on 450r LT a arms)
Rear suspension
all levers

Anything else?.....it will only be like 3 grand in aftermarket parts if all that stuff works, Man i hope so

It's more than just "weight". The geometry of the quad is different, therefore reacts differently when you hit whoops, jumps, ect. The rear linkages are different, therefore the rear shock responds differently.

All these factors must be taken into account when valving shocks.

Laz told me the rear shock won't work

The 450r front spindles, hubs, brake calipers and rotors will fit and with a little work parts can interchange. The 250r calipers will bolt onto the 450 spindles with a little clearance on the spindle bolt holes. The 250r hubs will bolt on the 450 spindles but the disks will need to be spaced in about 1/2 inch. The 450r disks are the same as the 3 bolt 1988-89 250r. I just finished bolting one side on and it looks cool.
