Installing New Chain

Anyone have any tips for installing a new chain without using a masterlink connection. Once I get the pin back all the way through how do I make the side of the that went through riveted?

The easy way is to use a masterlink. There is a chain press that you can buy that will smash the head of the pin. Not sure of the price, but I think that it is over $100. This is way everyone uses masterlinks,way cheaper and just as good.
