Does anybody have any pics of how they cut knobs out of their Turf Tamers? Also, what did you use to do it? I was told to use horse hoof clippers. Please posts pics.

There's also electric grooving tools that heat up and melts the knob off as it cuts. I believe Nac's racing still sells them.

I did my own with hoof clippers, took awhile but worked.

this might sound dumb but why do you guys wanna cutt off the knobs? i think it would be smarter to leave them on

By cutting off the knobs, this places more pressure on the remaining knobs, resulting in more traction. They also clean a whole lot better than ungrooved turfs. This is at the compromise of tread wear though.
