ive seen a few streetbike engines in the craptors. Mainly r1's.

if your going to do that conversion you might wanna go with a 1000 motor...the hayabusa motor works good in the ds650 but the r1 doesnt have enough torque to work good in a ds650......and the r1 motor is hard to fit in a banshee frame but if its done right it will work good because the r1 motor can pull the banshee alot better than it can the ds.....and with a 600 motor you would want it to be really light. ive seen alot of 600's in blaster frames.

A cbr600 will work fine. They are quicker than the 900 bikes on the flats. The 900's will beat them up the hill though.
I would look for a Raptor, Banshee or DS frame. The lt's are hard to find where I am especially straight ones and aftermarket parts are tough to find. Their is a lot more aftermarket stuff for the other quads mentioned. But if you're set on an lt go for it. They are a big quad so it has room. Just need to widen the bottom frame rails and make an i-beam for the top tube. Remove the stock tank and it will fit under the stock plastic.

put the 600 motor in a 400 frame, or a 450 frame, my friend gary is putting doing things with bike motors, and quads, but i don't want to give away his ideas that he's done already, i'll ask him, and if he says i can tell u i will, i think his pics will help

I was going to put a gsxr 600 in a raptor frame and it would fit in the frame but you would have to do some fabricating. Don't know if the cbr is smaller but the throttle bodies wouldn't be able to fit unless you make the frame wider or lower on the bottom rails. Here is a pic.
