It will probably stay stock for now except a little stereo upgrade and a spray-in bedliner. I wasn't sure about the yellow at first but it's starting to grow on me. :)

The first thing i did when they let me test drive it was bring it home and check to make sure my quad fit.

man i have an 04 150 heritage model (03' body style) with the v6 and i get 21 mpg, when i had my 01 nissan fronteir kingcab w/ the 4 banger i only got 20mpg:ermm: so i dont get it now i have alot bigger and more powerful truck and better gas mileage and my insurance is the exact same :confused:

but those 06 rangers do look good

If you have the 4.0, your deffinatly not going to be impressed with the gas milage, on the highway, I was getting about 14-16...So I did the exact opposite that you did, traded my ranger in for an F250! Couldnt be happier, My f250 gets about 18-20 miles on a gallon, its bigger, and the insurance is cheaper!

Sweet Truck BTW! :blah: I think the auto companies are catching on the the Clear Corner fad!

I was getting 12 & 16 mpg on my F150 (5.4) , im getting 15 & 19 on this one (4.0). So it's not much but it will help. I got my payment lowered by about $70 so that will help me out too.

Yeah I saw your red '04, I liked that thing. I bet it was tough to part with and downgrade :ermm: That ranger is cool though, I like how Ford switched up the grill on them. I'm not much of a compact truck guy, I will always drive a fullsize of some sort. I drive a supercharged '99 F-150 with the 5.4 and it'll gulp the gas pretty good when I romp on it, but the mileage really isn't all that bad if I make a conscious effort to stay out of the gas. Good to see you stuck with a FORD though lol :D

nice truck. i was going to get a yellow ranger edge but the dealer wanted way to much for it. so i went osmewhere else and got an 03 ranger fx4. their fun trucks, good off roading.
