truck stereo equipment

Hey, I'd like to get one of those touch screen head units. Not JUST a dvd player but with the radio, and plays cd's, mp3 and dvds. I like the ones where you hit the button and the screen comes out, then it's a touch screen. Anybody know a good brand, and where to get one without breaking the bank? Thanks.

the avic N1 is one of the best units out there but i really like the clarion. 2 of my frineds have the clarion and they both love them. no problems with them yet and the screen is good quality.

I got my Kenwood touch screen dvd player on ebay for 690 bucks. Works great. Although, they are some what of a pain to install. You should see all the wires them babies come with! If you've ever had any other car audio install experience they're not as bad as it might seem. Watch ebay for a good used one, you never know what you might find. :macho

you can get the clarion pretty cheap on ebay. but honestly with dvd players and just about everything car audio you get what you pay for. dont trust brands like pyle, jensenn, alot of sony,etc...

well clarion is good..but you will pay good prices for it...alpine is the best money can buy bottom line and you will spend every last bit of 2 grand....pioneer is good too they arent as expensive as alpine or clarion either

oh yea and the cheapest place ive found to get car stereo stuff is..

Alpine D-310 would be my unit of choice, just be careful about buying this kind of equipment off of ebay b/c manufacturers do not offer any protection on their stuff sold from there. good luck.
