Air box

Im running my airbox lid off now. What should i do if i want to run in the mud? Should i go ahead and invest in a new airbox. Im wanting to buy a new aftermarket filter. But need advice on what i should do. Any comments would help

On my 250R I don't run a lid and ride XC......I took a stock lid and cut it out like the EHS Lid and then bought a Banshee Twin Air filter and cut it up the side and the end off it...I oil it and the other filter and then I lay it on top of the airbox and put the cut out lid on top of it and snap it on like any other lid and bang you have a twice the filtering power.......I have never had a problem.....and you jet like there is no lid....

buy the outerwears airbox cover its 20-25 bucks from nacs.
