I know I've thought of it, and I'm sure others have to. Besides the plastic, it doesn't look too bad.

thats pretty sick. I like the way it looks kinda Baja-ish. Good job that guy did!

They did a good job on fabing mounts for that motor. It looks like it's meant to be there.

It's nice, but personally I don't see the point in doing it. I think the 250r looks better, and it handles better. Plus it sits a lot better.

He probably used the 450 motor in his aftermarket 250r chasis and had the 450 just sitting around and the 250r motor just sitting around SOOOOO, lol. Hey If Honda made this a production bike, they might sell a few? I wouldn't buy one, but someone would if it was cheap enough (not $8,000 like the ones in the mags with the cr 250 motor in the 400ex frame) I forgot who made them? .... Instead, I put 400ex plastic on one of my R's. The seat and side panels feel better to me when cornering. Great job Though! It's orignal and the 1st one I've seen.:bandit:

so do you guys think that it is lighter than a comparable 250R?

I think it would be a couple pounds lighter, only because the stock square tube 250r frames are beasts.

They are backwards. It's for running them in the snow. In snow you don't want the paddles to dig in too much or you will just sink in the snow and get stuck. Running the paddles backwards keeps the tires from digging in as much.
