Racin A 250

well.i just got a new 250 ex and i wanna race but im scared id get killed on it, what doo dads could i put on it to make it as fast as posible and what class and stuff,its all stock except for renthals and shredders..what do i need

race in the lowest class that u can. this will prolly be in a class with 300ex's and blasters. also i am glad i could help with ur first reply

do a woods race. it is not hard for a 300ex to stay with a 400ex in the woods.

The name of the game on any quad racing is suspension. Modding your suspension will make you go faster than modding your motor in a race. Especially on MX, good suspension is key. Actually with any racing, suspension is key. Well you get the drift. Suspension. Also, race the beginner class till you get the hang of things. Youll learn. Most of all, if anyone tries to tell you the 250EX isn't raceable, screw em. Just go out there and have fun. :cool:

if you know how to ride that thing good you can win agianst 250x, and some 300ex, there is one company that makes a big bore kit for a 250ex, from 229cc to 249cc, but i forgot what company

i would ride on tracks for a while and then when you learn to jump turn etc. start looking for maybe a 250r or something that you can mod for racing..im not trashin your quad im just saying i dont think a 250ex could hold up that great racing mx..well its your choice but if you race it race in the blaster class
