We got the frame today. It was sitting on the front porch when I came home for lunch. Looks great! I unwrapped it and put on my sons bedrooom floor so he will see it when he gets home from school. I have a deal pending for a swingarms so I'll have it sent to you like I did with the frame if it's ok with you. We're also going to send you some other odds and ends, upper a-arms, bumper, grab bar, etc. Thanks so much for making the frame look so nice!

Sounds good. We finally got all the parts ready to go this weekend. They're all packaged up and will be shipped out Tomorrow. Each part has a label on it with the color it is supposed to be. One part you may not recognize is a battery tray for a snowmibile I'm restoring. Thanks again for all you're doing!

Everything looks excellent except the front bumper was supposed to be red. Did you do the brake lever, shifter, and kick starter? I'm ordering a plating kit from Eastwood tomorrow to do all the bolts with. Ryan is glass beading all the bolts and some other hardware. Should look really good when it's done! Hold off on the front bumper, we may be able to do something different. We didn't want it silver initially because the aluminum shield on it is silver but it's not new looking. Maybe we'll do the shield in red?

haha i did everything in the colors that were taped to each part, except the upper arm which i asked you about.

i can change the bumper, its no biggie at all!

Hey great! I got the first box today. Everything looks sweet! Some of those parts looked like junk when I sent them now they look awesome! We were plating bolts this evening getting ready to put it all back together. Very easy to do but boring as anything. Thanks so much! Hey is your oven big enough to fit a 3/4 midget frame? I may have some business for you in the future if it does.

Payment went out in todays mail. I do have some bad news though. It appears that the front bumper (Yes the one you painted twice!) will not work on this frame. The actual bumper bolts up but there are no bolt holes in the frame for the aluminum bumper skid to bolt to. I guess I'll be looking for a 300EX bumper now........ Good news is we are making some progress in the assembly and everything looks fantastic!

I received the swingarm and the rest of the parts today and as usual they look great. One question though. Did the swingarm come with bearings and seals? or were they no good? Thanks again!

i will check, but i do not remeber seeing a bag with your name on it full of bearings and seals....usually that means they were trashed and tossed. i may have a set of bearings here(used) but i know i dont have any seals that i could send to help keep the cost of your project down.

Yes I obviously do not know the condition they were in because I never saw the swingarm before now. I do think I remember you saying that your brother was taking it apart. I don't have a problem buying a bearing and seal kit if I need one, I just wanted to ask first. If you're going to look around please let me know as soon as you can so that if I need the kit I can order it now. I will be sending you the steering stem so don't bother sending just the swingarm bearings if you do happen to have them. While we're talking about swing arm bearings, do you think it would be a benefit to put a grease zerk on the swingarm to keep the pivot bearings greased or is that a bad idea?

if he was racing in alkot of sand and mud yes, but if you pull the pivot bolt every month or so and lube it along with a good shot of lube in the bearings you will be fine

You should have gotten a front bumper by now with my name on it. I also just shipped a steering stem and front brake backing plates today. EVERYTHING GETS SILVER including the front bumper. This is the last of it!
