I bet if you hop a 400ex up to top dollar mods, and i mean everything, and then you put a turbo on it. It will be pushing alot of power for a 400ex motor. i know on cars&trucks a turbo can nearly double the HP's it already has.

I would say somewhere between 50-60 hp on a 500ex.

CT's 440 race motors push about 40hp. i would say with a good 440 kit, extensive intake and exhaust mods and nitrous, 50 rwhp might be possible

I found this dyno of a turbo 530R that only makes 60hp with all the goodies....

can it be done to a 400ex, probably could but:

1. is it even feasible...

2. can you ride it when its done...

3. durability

I know everything can be done...but then again you have to stay with reason....70HP on 400EX is unreasonable in my book since the pros are only pumping out 60HP on 450Rs....

I don't even think I have seen a 400EX hit 60HPs, drag or not.....Boone had one

in dirtwheels a nmotion 450r had 60 hp only with a engine kit.

Yeah, that is a 520 NMotion kit probably and that only makes 60HP, so 400EX and 70 HP....doubt it....
