250R hood

Will the maier 250R hoods work on the 400ex? I know you can buy the carbonfiber ones and cut your light bezel out and make them work but will these work also?

Yeah, but you're going to have to do the same thing... cut your lights out. It's the same design. I've got the "carbon fiber look" Maeir on my 400... it's a regular plastic hood, it's just been silk screen with a carbon look on it.

If you have an 05 ' 400 you might look at the 450r hoods.
