I got a 426!

Hi guys,

I just sent my top end off to get bored out. Can't wait to get it back and throw it on. I've covered all the details except torque specs. For a 426 JE piston with 11:1 comp, How much "tite" do I put on the head bolts?

I also shaved my front fenders today, they look great. Dam its been a productive day.

not sure of the exact torque spec. 12 lbs maybe? but thats only the big bolt in the center of the head. Tighten all the small bolts like you would the oil filter cover. If you try to torque em you are gonna strip em out.

Which 'head' bolts are are wanting the torque spec on? Just asking because some people don't know what the actual head bolts are. There's at least one in this thread already;)
