i raced my buddie who has a 440ex. we started going and we where almost dead equal to the end he only pulled away by about 1 quad lenght after we had them full out in 5th pinned! all i have done to mine is a high comp piston and cam!! he has the 440 kit and cam! y did i keep up with him!?!?!?!? i was thinkin about getting the kit but if thats all it does 1 quad legnth im gonna forget about it!!!!!!

Depends who puts em together. Anyone can throw it together, but you really have to be precise and do everything good to have the most power. Also could be if it was jetted wrong. Also the rider.

a 440 doesn't rev like a 406 or 416, 440's have torque, but also it who and how it put together, porting, carb, cam, compression, tires, gearing all play a huge part. Its also rider skill and shifting speed
